WHAT? Lemu is an application to help travelers in a new city locate the best of the best that the location has to offer.
HOW? Users will type in their destination city. This will lead to a list of potential options: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Appetizers, Coffee, and Drinks. The lists are broken down into the top three choices based on gathered online reviews. Through the app you can also make reservations, rate and leave reviews, and also mark to other users all of the places that you have visited.
You will also be able to add your friends on the app. Doing so allows you to view where your friends have been, see what they did on their city visits, and leave them comments on their activities.
WHY? When visiting a new city, it is hard to know if you are getting the best experience out of the short time you are there. Lemu ensures that you’re having the best time.
WHO? Although Lemu is targeted at middle aged upper class members of society, it is open to all. Because the app is providing the best, most options are going to be the most expensive. The ability to mark where you have been so your friends can see adds a sense of competition among the wealthy and their peers. The hope is that once one friend sees the great (expensive) time that you had on your trip, they will try to one-up it on their next visit.
